London Gatwick Airport in a nutshell

London

London's second largest airport and one of the busiest in Europe, it is located about 45 km south of central London and 43 km north of Brighton.

Most flights to Gatwick are operated by easyJet, which has its main base here. A large number of routes from Gatwick are also operated by British Airways, Wizz Air, TUI, Vueling and Norse Atlantic Airways with low-cost flights across the ocean.

Most flights are to European destinations, the Caribbean and the USA, but direct flights from Gatwick also go to Asia and Africa. Gatwick thus acts as an alternative to Heathrow LHR.
