Shops and supermarkets

There is no traditional large grocery store at Fort Lauderdale Airport, but you can use the many small mini-markets to buy sandwiches, bagels, chips, sweets, salads or drinks.

The section after security checkpoint functions as a large shopping mall. The airport has many shops selling souvenirs, travel goods and electronics.

There are also toy shops (Lego Store) and fashion shops (Desigual, Rip Curl and others).

Restaurants and cafés

The public part of the terminal has no restaurants except for vending machines for drinks and biscuits, but behind security you will find a really large selection of restaurants, bars and regular fast-food outlets.

Baggage Storage

There are two public luggage storage facilities. Both locations have the same opening hours from 8:00 to 17:30.

  • Terminal 1 - public area, 2nd floor
  • Terminal 3 - public area, near the baggage claim belt

ATMs and exchange offices

All exchange offices at the airport have very unfavourable exchange rates.

Please use the ATMs located in the public areas of the arrival halls of all terminals.

Drinking water

Cold drinking water fountains, from which you can fill your own bottle free of charge, are located near the toilets in all terminals.
