At Cluj Airport, all flights are handled in one very small terminal.

The building is fairly modern, but it's quite cramped inside and, especially during the morning departure rush hour, you can expect queues up to 15 minutes long for security checks and not enough seats.

However, overall orientation is very easy and you can walk the entire terminal in 5 minutes.

Transfer between flights

Cluj isn't a typical transfer point, but with plenty of cheap flights from Wizz Air or Ryanair, travellers often combine transfers on their own at two separate bookings here.

The airport doesn't have a direct transfer transit zone, so you always have to go outside, check in again and go through security to get to the departure gates.

The whole procedure can take up to 45 minutes.
