Eurowings in a nutshell

Eurowings

The German company Eurowings is a low-cost carrier wholly owned by Lufthansa, which was established in 2014. Eurowings operates routes mainly from Düsseldorf, Cologne, Vienna and Stuttgart, where it replaced the parent company Lufthansa.

Although it is a low-cost airline, Eurowings primarily offers flights to major airports, including long-haul flights outside Europe, and tickets with guaranteed connections between both its own flights and Lufthansa connecting flights.

Long-haul flights to the Caribbean, the Americas and Africa use the Eurowings Discover brand with IATA code 4Y.
