The popular Museum Campus is actually a large park on the shores of Lake Michigan, with several major tourist attractions.

What to see and do on the Museum Campus?
- Adler Planetarium - The first planetarium in the U.S. (opened in 1930)

- The Field Museum - 3rd largest natural history museum in the world
- Shedd Aquarium - the 3rd largest aquarium and oceanarium in the Western Hemisphere
- Soldier Field Stadium - Stadium for American football and home of the Chicago Bears. Interestingly, at 61,500 seats, it is the 3rd smallest stadium in the American Football League (NFL)

In addition, the Museum Campus will offer an extensive park, restaurants, refreshments and lakeside beaches.
The wide and beautifully landscaped walking paths along the lake are very popular, with the opportunity to relax on the large grassy areas.
How to get there
The following bus routes run directly to the Museum Campus to the Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium and the Adler Planetarium:
- 130 - nearest subway station Roosevelt (Red, Green, Orange Line), Downtown, Union Station
- 146 - nearest Roosvelt Metro Station (Red, Green, Orange Line), Downtown, North Chicago
You can also use the Metrarail commuter rail station called "Museum Campus/11th St.", which is about a 15-minute walk to the park.
Accommodation at Museum Campus
If your main destination in Chicago is to attend a cultural event at Huntington Bank, a sports game at Solider Field, or a visit to a museum or aquarium, stay nearby.
