Frigiliana

Frigiliana

The pitorestic village on the slopes of the Sierra Tejeda is a popular spot for excursions from the nearby resort of Nerja. If you want to experience the authentic atmosphere of a typical Andalusian village with whitewashed houses, steep streets and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea in the background, then head here from Nerja. The ideal time to visit Frigiliana is in the afternoon, when it's not so hot and the sunsets are great to watch.

Also stop for a late lunch or early dinner at one of the many local restaurants, which offer quality food at a much lower price than in Nerja.

There is a bus from Nerja to Frigiliana about once an hour, which costs about 1,50 eur.
