Taejongdae Resort Park

Taejongdae

The Taejongdae Nature Park will amaze you with its tens of metres high vertical jagged cliffs, beautiful pine forests and magnificent views of the ocean with many cargo ships waiting to enter the harbour.

The 10 best hotels in Busan

The park greets visitors with many marked and well-maintained walkways and especially beautiful views, capped by the view from the working lighthouse at the southern tip of the island.

A walker's paradise

Taejongdae Park is a walker's paradise. The paths here are mainly asphalt with comfortable sidewalks, but you'll also find plenty of offshoots into the forest where you can walk on unpaved surfaces.

In total, the main hiking circuit from the bus terminus to the lighthouse is about 5 km long.

Along the way, you will come across countless views of the sea, as well as a small Buddhist temple.

Danubi tourist train

The terrain in the park is quite hilly and if you don't feel like walking, the Danubi road tourist train runs from the park entrance to the lighthouse.

The train runs daily except Mondays from 9:00 to 17:30, and in summer until 19:30. A one-way ticket costs 2 000 krw, return 4 000 krw.

Admission and opening hours

The park is open daily from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Admission is free.
