Over a hundred years old, the Palmiarnia greenhouse is the oldest palm house in Poland and is home to 17,000 exotic species of flora and fauna, from palms, cacti, carnivorous plants and water lilies to large Koi carp or Piranha.
The Palm House covers an area of 4,600m2 and can be found in Wilson Park in the western part of the city centre.
The greenhouse is divided into 8 themed areas, and you will go through all of them in turn thanks to the logical direction of the tour. It also includes a cafe or lots of benches under the palm leaves.

How to get there
Wilson Park is located near the main railway and bus station in Poznan. There is a tram and bus stop right next to the park Park Wilsona, which is served by tram number 14 or bus numbers 201, 213, 218 and 223.
It is also within walking distance of the Old Zoo.
Entrance fees and opening hours
The Palm House is open every day except Mondays, during the following hours:
- Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Last entry is possible one hour before closing time.
The price of admission is 16 pln per adult, or 12 pln for children and students and tourist card holders Poznań City Card.
