The parliament building was completed in 1866 and still serves its original purpose. Two lion statues in the façade on the pretty square are a highlight.

In the past, the Norwegian Parliament has given guided tours of the very interesting interiors.

Unfortunately, at the moment, tours and entry to the building are not possible for tourists.
