The centre of Taipa, on the island of the same name, boasts a small quarter with traditional streets where the Portuguese and Chinese have lived for centuries.

Taipa Village includes just a few streets that you can walk through in 30 minutes, but feel free to stop here for hours.

Chinese and Portuguese culture mix here in the form of traditional restaurants of both nations, colonial colourful houses and many shops where you can buy traditional souvenirs.
