The tower is the tallest structure in all of Macau and therefore also provides the best views of the city and mainland China.

The height and shape of Macau Tower

Even with the antenna, the tower measures 338 metres and ranks in the top 40 tallest buildings in China, Hong Kong and Macau.

However, the highest point that ordinary tourists can reach is only 223 meters high on the outdoor terrace on the 61st floor.

At first glance, the Macau Tower is strikingly reminiscent of the Sky Tower in the New Zealand city of Auckland. Macau billionaire and main investor in the Macau Tower, Stanley Ho Hung-Sun, was inspired by the Auckland tower and built a similar tower in his hometown.

Admission and opening hours

The lookout is open daily from 10:00 am. It closes at 19:00 on weekdays and at 20:00 on weekends.

We recommend visiting the tower before closing time, when it gets dark and the richly lit buildings of the city stand out beautifully.

Ideally, book your tickets online at the official website: macautower.com.mo.
