Sani Beach

Sani Beach

Sani beach on the west of the Kassandra peninsula is one of the most beautiful in the whole of Halkidiki. A narrow strip of white fine sand winds along the low cliffs covered with dense greenery and the beach gracefully and very slowly continues through the sandy bottom into the crystal clear sea.

Most of the beautiful beach belongs to one of the most luxurious resorts in Halkidiki, the Sani Resort, and is only accessible to hotel guests. However, a relatively large part of the beach south of Anemos bar is public and accessible without charge. Here too, you can enjoy luxurious swimming, very clean beaches and waters and nice views.

Every conceivable service is available here, from sunbed and parasol hire, pedal boats and pedal boats to a variety of water sports. Of course there is a wide range of bars and taverns.

As Sani Beach is one of the most famous on Kassandra, expect larger crowds.

Accommodation

Individual accommodation can be found around Sani Beach at prices starting from 103 eur per night. The high price reflects the extremely quiet surroundings in the beautiful countryside. The cheapest apartments include Sunny Hills Studios about 3 km from the sea, or the beautiful Sani More apartments about 600 meters from the beach.

When staying here you have to take into account that for any major shopping you have to drive to the town of Nea Fokea, 12 km away.

How to get to Sani Beach

The beach can only be reached by car, there are no regular buses. Near the public part of the beach there is an improvised parking lot built in a field for a fee of about 6 eur per day, which is collected only in cash.

Book a car at Thessaloniki airport

Thessaloniki is about 83 km from Sani beach and it takes just over an hour to get here (see route map).
