The quieter resort of Kripoigi (sometimes spelled as Kryopigi) welcomes travellers with a relaxed and different, more natural, look to the local beaches.

The town of Kripoigi itself is one of the smaller and very peaceful ones. You'll only find a few tavernas and small grocery shops.

Beaches and swimming

You won't find any wide flat beaches in Kriopigi immediately, but only a narrow strip along a densely wooded small hillside that physically separates the beach from its surroundings.

Swimming on the beaches of Kriopigi thus has a special peaceful atmosphere, where you can see no houses, roads or hotels from the beach, but only the green hillside and the calm surface of the bay.

The sea here is shallow and warm, ideal for families with children.

There are several small bars on the beach, as well as sun lounger and umbrella hire.

Accommodation Kriopigi

The resort is ideal for a quiet holiday, and this is also the case with the tours to Kriopigi, which are organized by Czech travel agencies. You will usually stay in nice family apartments with gardens and entertainment for children.

The best hotels with fair prices and good ratings include Gi Ga Mar *** with a great location between the village centre and the beach.

How to get to Kriopigi?
